There is a separate listing for barber shops in the directory and there is an E. J. Murphy, 1008 7th Avenue, Beaver Falls listed. An Ed J. Murphy (barber-own shop) with his family is in the 1910 census at 1008 7th Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania but Roy B. Wolfe is not listed in the census.Residence

William T. Law, who was employed as barber by Roy B. Wolfe, took a $3 advance on his next week's wages and then left town. He also owed his landlady his last week's rent and stole other items from her. He also owed a couple day's board at the Reavely Hotel.Miscellaneous
Hair cuts were 35 cents in 1917 and 50 cents in 1918; shaves were 15 cents in 1917, 20 cents in 1918, and 25 cents in 1925. Other prices were also listed in the newspaper.Residence
The obituary for Roy and Effie's daughter Helen in the 7 September 1928 Sykesville Post-Dispatch states that "she was a charming little miss and made many friends here during the brief time the Wolfe family resided in this place. Mr. Wolfe, having sold his barber business to Simon Kephart about one year ago, the family moved to Florida."Residence
Roy's son, Jacob Conner Wolfe, states he was 5 years old when they moved to Bartow, Florida. He states he lived with with Daisy and John Myers, his aunt and uncle, in Cherry Tree during his freshman year in high school. His parents moved to Indiana, Pennsylvania after his freshman year in high school and he attended Indiana High School through his senior year. Since he attended high school in Cherry Tree during the 1937-1938 school year, his parents moved to Indiana, Pennsylvania before he started school in the fall of 1938.Divorce
