Tombstone states he died March 01, 1849 but this should probably be March 10, 1849. His will was written on 9 March 1849 so he probably died 10 March 1849.Probate
He leaves his wife Margaret 50 acres to be surveyed off for her use so long as she remains his widow. He leaves his eldest sons, Abraham and Isacc Dishong, "the Cambria County place" to be equally divided between them. They were to each pay his son Jacob $75 who was to receive 50 acres of land "..off the home place where he has built his house..." His youngest son Daniel when he becomes of age was to have the "home place" and his personal property except for the 50 acres given to Jacob. His son Daniel was to keep his mother but she was only to receive a cow and bed if she remarried.Endnotes
