George Adam WEAVER

A George Adam Weber died in Upper Saucon Township before 24 December 1803. George Adam Weber's eldest surviving son became 21 on 22 December 1809. At that time he filed a petition in Orphans Court to make a partition of his father's property. A partition record in Orphans Court in 1810 names George Adam's wife Margaret and three children: George, Catharine intermarried with George Werst, and Peter, still a minor. George and Catharine chose John Weber as their guardian in 1805 and Peter Weber chose Elias Weber as his guardian in 1806. The administrators for George Adam Weber were Margaret Weber and John Weber. Margaret was his wife and John and Elias Weber/Weaver were his brothers.
A George Adam Weaver died in Lower Saucon Township in 1809. His will does not name his wife but names the following children: George, Joseph, Catharine Hess, Magdalen, Susannah, Conrad, and Tobias. His wife was Maria Barbara Haas.
Since the George Adam Weber that died in Upper Saucon Township about 1803 named his oldest son John Ehr., this is the George Adam that is a son of Erhart Weaver and his wife Magdalena Hecht. George Adam's brothers, John and Elias, are also named as guardians for his children and his brother, John, as one of the administrators of his estate.

Probate
The petition by George Weaver, son of George Adam Weaver, asking the Court to make a partition of the 94 acres owned by his father names George Adam's wife Margaret and his three children: George, Catharine married to George Werst, and Peter, still a minor. The Court divided the land owned by George Adam into three parcels that were purchased by George Adam's three children.Number 1 George purchased this parcel of 34 acres and 5 perches for 459 pounds with John Weaver as one of the sureties.
Number 2 Peter purchased this parcel of 33 acres and 125 perches for 375 pounds with Jonas Weaver as one of the sureties.
Number 3 George Werst and Catharine his wife purchased this parcel that was actually two separate pieces of land, one of 10 acres and 45 perches and one of 8 acres and 55 perches for 349 pounds and 10 shillings.
Death
Margaret Weber, widow and relict of George Adam Weber, late of Upper Saucon Township Yeoman dec'd and John Weber were appointed administrators of his estate on 24 December 1803. John Harlocker and Jacob Ertman of Upper Saucon Township gave bond in the amount of two thousand pounds.Endnotes
