An Irvin C. Brady is living in Burnside Township, Clearfield County in the 1870 census with Mary A, and the following children: Kesiah J., 7; William, 5; and Alice A., 6 months. He marries Mary Repplogel in 1879 and appears in the 1880 census with her and her children who are all listed as his step children. Did he divorce his first wife or just leave her and start a new family. The children that were listed as his step children in the 1880 census used the surname Brady rather than Repplogel later in life. Were they his biological children? He had one son James C. in 1881 after his marriage to Mary Repplogel in 1879.
