A newspaper article titled "Conners Making Good in Florida Oranges" dated December 1908 at the Historical and Genealogical Society states that "George (Conner) is interested in orange and lumber tracts there while Henry (Conner) owns extensive orange groves. Going to Florida four years ago on account of his health, Henry Conner, a well known former resident of Cherrytree, is now on his way to fortune."
