Kindrel was shot by her husband, George Boro, on May 3 following an argument between them but did not die until 19 July 1947 as a result of the brain injury from the gunshot wound to her head. She had filed for divorce from her husband in April.

She is the same person that married George Boro since she was living at 1617 W. Jefferson St. in Louisville, Kentucky when Charles G. Sippi received a promotion in 1944 and when she was shot on 3 May 1947 by her husband, George Boro.
