Individual Details
Kuakahela
( - )
He was a priest of the Nahulu order who accompanied Keoua in his meeting with Kamehameha to sue for peace. Keoua and his chiefs were murdered and he fled. He found refuge in Kekuiapoiwa's house, which was kapu (Fornander, An Account of the Polynesian Race, p 334). It makes sense that she would shelter him in that he was her brother.
