LIFE

B. Spousal order (McKinzie, Hawaiian Genealogies, vol 1 p 16). In his younger years, he was considered temporary mate of Kalani while he visited Hawaii (Kalakaua, The Legends and Myths of Hawaii, p 401). On a trip to Hawaii, Kalani-kauleleiaiwi became enamored with him and joined with him. A son was born, whereafter Lono returned to Kauai (Kalakaua, The Legends and Myths of Hawaii, p 355).
