LIFE
A. She was paired with Kamehameha in her young age and in his old age (Kamakau, Ruling Chiefs of Hawaii, p 208).
B. She died with her mate Kekuaokalani fighting to retain the old Hawaiian religion at the battle of Kuamoo (Kalakaua, The Legends and Myths of Hawaii, p 28). She died in 1819 at Kuamoo, Hawaii (Kamakau, Ruling Chiefs of Hawaii, p 226) on the battlefield (Alexander, A Brief History of the Hawaiian People, p 171).
