LIFE
A. He was chief of Ka'awaloa or Napoopoo, Hawaii (Kamakau, Ruling Chiefs of Hawaii, p 306).
B. Order of mates (Peabody-Henriques genealogy, Hms G17, p 41).
C. In 1823, at "about fifty years of age," he was "a chief of considerable rank and influence in Hawall," about 6-feet tall, who had thrown away his idol for the Christian religion (Journal of William Ellis, p 49-50,52).
D. "Kamakau and his wife helped with the translation of the Bible. So did Ke-po'o-kulou" (Pukui, Hawaiian Genealogies, p 115).
