LIFE
A. Ruler of Kauai Kaumualii gave J. Piikoi to Kamehameha II as a retainer (Ka Hae Hawaii, 4 May 1859, p 18, Ka make aua o J Piikoi).
B. He was given stewardship over the Kings land by Kamehameha III. He continued in that position under Kamehameha IV (Ka Hae Hawaii, 4 May 1859, p 18, Ka make aua o J Piikoi).
