B. "Prince David disowned her, saying she was not his child.... She... was adopted by her grandmother (Abigail Campbell-Parker). After Prince David's death, and the grandmother's death... the mother took her back into court, annulled the adoption, and had her name (and that of her three children) changed to Kawananakoa" (Oukah, Hawaiian Royal & Noble Genealogies, p 21).
