In the US Ellev was known as Ellef Reppe.
Singsaasboka Bind II page 15 was named Ellev Jonsen Buset.
In the booklet "Lincoln County Minnesota, 1873-1973" there is a photo and the following text:
1891 at the Ellef Reppe farm west of Lake Hendricks. Ellef and Anne Forseth Reppe and their children; Christine died at 12, Ina (Mrs. Hans J. Hanson in later life), and Bernt (sitting in mothers's lap, died at infancy). John and Jens in the wagon. Petrine Bjornlie, a sister of Mrs. Reppe is standing in the doorway. Horse and buggy belong to the photographer. Dog is Prince! Ben and Christine were born later. Ernest Reppe now lives on the farm and in the same house with a few additional rooms added.
