It is hereby certified in accordance with the Church
Records of the Parish of Storen, in the Province of Sor-Trondelag
and Kindom of Norway, and other evidence produced before me,
that Hans Hugdal, alias Hans Hugdahl, son of Arnt Hansen Hugdal
and his wife Randi Hugdal, nee Olsdatter, was born on September
4, 1857.
It is further certified that the said father Arnt
Hansen Hugdal was born in 1810 and died on September 19, 1865,
and that the said mother Randi Hugdal, nee Olsdatter, was born
on September 7, 1820, and died on January 2, 1909.
They had the following children:
I. Ole Arntsen Hugdal, born on February 4, 1848, emigrated to
the U.S.A. where he is reported to have died. He had in his
Marriage to Berit Pedersdatter the following children:
1) Arnt Olsen Hugdal, born on April 11, 1875, living at
Snoan st., Norway.
2) Ingri Olsdatter Hugdal, born on February 6, 1877, living
at Ler st., Gauldal, Norway.
3) Endre Hugdal, born on April 8, 1880, living at Ler st.,
Gauldal, Norway.
II. Ane Arntsdatter Hugdal, married Hoksteggen,, born on February
2, 1851, died on September 23, 1928, without leaving any
issue.
III. Berit Hugdal, born on July 27, 1854, died on September 4,
1910. She had, as a spinster, by Ole N. Anshus the daughter:
1) Randi Hugdal, married Dittlevsen, born on may 30, 1883,
living at Sorvag, Alsvag, Verteralen, Norway.
The said Berit Hugdal had in her marriage to Ole T.
Hugdal the following children:
2) Guru Hugdal, married Naesgard, born on April 25, 1889,
living at Snoan st., Norway.
3) Arnt Olsen Hugdal, born on January 8, 1891, died on
March 14, 1891.
4) Anna (Anne, Ane) Hugdal, married Roskaft, born on
July 13, 1893, died on May 23, 1918, leaving the
following children born in her marriage to Mons
Iversen Roskaft:
a) Ivar Roskaft, born on February 21, 1915, died
on July 24, 1919.
b) Odd Roskaft, born on July 22, 1916, living at
Storen, Norway.
5) Kirsti O. Hugdal, born on June 8, 1895, died on
October 31, 1896.
6) Oline Hugdal, married Svaan, born on June 8, 1895,
living at Klabu, Norway.
IV. The above named testator Hans Hugdal, alias Hans Hugdahl,
deceased.
V. Anders Hugdal, alias Andrew Anderson, alias Anders Anderson
Hugdahl, born on February 6, 1861, emigrated to the U.S.A.,
where he is reported to have died on May 4, 1940.
VI. Ane (Anne) Hugdahl, married Raen, born on January 4, 1866,
emigrated to the U.S.A., where she is reported to be
living at Menomonee.
