Hans Hansen Hinverk is only the father to Martin, not the other 3 children. Kristoffer is the father to those three. Kristoffer, Kjersti and the 4 children came to the US in 1904. Kristoffer, according the farm history for Hugaas commited suicide here in the US. I've narrowed down the year of his death to between 1905 and 1910. He is on the 1905 SD State Census as Hugaas and Kjersti is on the 1910 US Census for Minnehaha County, SD with the 4 children and is a widow, as Christopherson. Martin, Dordi, and Olga all married in 1916. I have also found Karl WWI Draft card for 1918 and it show his mother to be Christine Stenerson. On the 1910 census living in their houshold is a Charlie Stenerson. So Kjersti did remarry sometime between 1910-1918.
