Individual Details
Ole Aune
(1860 - Bet 1910 and 1921)
[Grande_Winsness.FTW]
A batchelor, born 1860 and went to America. It is not known when he went to America but he came to the Esten Johnson family home and said he was very ill and going to die and wanted to stay there. Sister, Ildri said they had no room with the 10 children but he wanted to have a bed made for him in the grove of trees and there he would die. He is buried at Singsaas Luthern Cemetery in the same lot as Esten and Ildri Johnson but there is no marker and no record in either the church or county death records. The above was per Clara Bakke. In 1921 the cemetery was burned to clear it and many wood cross markers burned.
