Died of congenital heart defect. Born at Emory University Hospital. Sent to Egleston Children s Hospital in Atlanta and Grady Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Sent to Birmingham for surgery. Surgery took 5 hours, but upon his removal from the heart-lung machine, he was unable to survive. Brought home for burial in the family plot in PMV, GA
