Grad Chamblee HS. Attended LaGrange College, GA leaving to work and marry Jim.
Bev graduated from Chamblee HS while Jim went to Tucker graduating a year earlier. Jim had to wait till Bev's 15th birthday to ask her for a date and from that time on they dated till marriage in March 66 six months before Jim's graduation from Tech. Bev's income kept them going till moving to Cincinnati where Jim started with GE and Amy was born.
Next year moved to Syracuse where Dave was born, and then to Summerville SC for 14 years. Bev raised the kids there and was involved with quilting and gardening.
In Schenectady starting in 90, Bev worked for the NY State Education Department proctoring and grading tests. She got very involved in wood work and provided the kids college spending money from her efforts.
Moving to Anderson in 90, she worked for a while and maintained her sewing and gardening activities with many friends.
