John Edward Tremble III

John served in the military in World War II. He was a corporal in the Army- Air Force - radio division. Stationed in Chicago, IL and California.
Worked for Wisconsin Milling Co, Menomonie, WI from 1946 until the company closed in Menomonie. Company owned by Robert L. Pierce until Pierce's death. John moved to Abbotsford, WI with Wisco Milling in August, 1970. Wisco produced mink food which was sold in the midwest. He stayed with the company until his retirement because of illness, July 31, 1983.

John E. Tremble III, 62, Medford, formerly of Menomonie, died
Tuesday, Oct. 22 (1985) at his home.

Memorial services were held Thursday, Oct. 24 at St. Paul's Lutheran
Church in Medford, with the Rev. Warren Behling officiating. The
body was cremated.

John E. Tremble III was born May 2, 1923 to John E. and Carmen
(Laws) Tremble in Los Angeles, Cal. and attended school in Lawndale,
Cal. He married Jean Score on March 4, 1943 in Chicago.

In 1950 he began employment with the Wisconsin Milling Company in
Menomonie, and eventually managed the business. In 1970 he moved
to the Medford area and worked in Abbotsford as the manager of the
Wisconsin Milling Company. He retired in 1983.

He was a veteran of Word War II and a former member of the American
Legion and Moose Lodge in Menomonie; he was also a former
president and district governor of the Menomonie Lions Club. He was
a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Medford, the Abbotsford
Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce.

He was preceded in death by a sister and an infant daughter, Betty
Jean.

Survivors include his wife, Jean; three daughters, Linda (Mrs. William)
Schwartz of Glen Ellyn, IL, Carol Tremble of Annandale, VA, and Julie
(Mrs. John) Prechel of Oshkosh; a son John Tremble of Minneapolis;
three brothers, Jack of Tulsa OK, Raymond of El Segundo, CA, and
Robert of Lawndale, CA; a sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Homer) Price of
