Obituary of Sig Score, Dunn County News, Oct. 16, 1991:

Sigwald M. Score, 92, 1514 Stout St., Menomonie, died Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Dunn County Health Care Center.

He was born Feb. 13, 1899, in the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn County to Michael and Gena (Rognes) Score. He was raised on the home farm and attended Elk Creek School. He was employed at the Holland Piano Factory and later the LaPointe Lumber Company.

On March 29, 1919, he married Esther Frank in Eau Claire. He worked for several garages in the area, doing mechanic work and selling cars, before going into business for himself -- a car dealership -- that he later sold to his son, the late Lee Score.

He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and Christ Lutheran Church. His favorite recreational activities were bowling and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Esther, of Menomonie; two daughters, Jean Tremble and Beverly (Norman) Waller, both Menomonie, nine
grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, four sisters, a son and a granddaughter.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Andrew Boe officiating. Burial was in Halvorson cemetery. Olson Funeral Home handled arrangements.Obituary of Sig Score, Dunn County News, Oct. 16, 1991:
