Just when I was to start looking for my Grandma Budahl's side of the family, I run across this and remembered you had asked about them.
Peder Larsen Storbudal's first wife, Guri,was born in 1810. They lived in Haltdalen, Norway; where he was a teacher. They had a daughter,Guri, born in 1839, possibly the same time his first wife died. His first wife's maiden name was Guri Mathiasdatter Kjonnas.
His second wife, Marit Andersdatter Rathagen was born 4/15/1827 in Haltdalen, Norway. Two children, Lars (born 1850) and Kristina (born 1854 or 1855) were born before they emmigrated to America. They emmigrated through the port of Christiania I am not sure if any of the other children were born before they emmigrated or if the rest were born in Iowa.
