George was born before 1617, probably in England. He emigrated to Virginia where he married a woman named Eleanor. Sparacio, Ruth and Sam, eds. ''Old Rappahannock Co Va Deed Book 1, Part II - 1662-1664.'' Antient Press, McLean, VA. p. 325.:WHEREAS my Husband GEORGE MORRIS & Mr. WILLIAM LANE have a joynt Pattent for Two thousand five hundred acres of land lying in POTOMECK NECK & for some consideracon my Husband GEORGE MORRIS aforesd ... I have hereunto set my hand & seale this first day of November 1664in presence of FRA. KIRKMAN, ELIONER MORRIS They were the parents of a daughter, Catherine. Sparacio, Ruth and Sam. ''Rappahannock County Record Book #7,'' Antient Press, McLean, VA. p. 179 April 1, 1685 George Morris of New Kent county conveyed his half interest in 1600 acres patented by Major George Morris and Mr. John Long to "Thomas Pettit and unto his sister Mrs. Catherine Longe." (both children of daughter Catherine) Although George was constantly engaged in land transactions and his name appears on many documents, he is last recorded witnessing a deed in February, 1685. His date of death is unknown and if he left a will, it has been lost.
