Sarah's maiden name should be stated as Unknown. Sarah initially married [[Lewis-4570 | Daniel Lewis]]. When Daniel passed she married the widower [[Bennett-2761 | Richard Bennett]]. After Richard passed, she married [[Lancaster-109 | Robert Lancaster]]. Her will provides us insight into this naming convention as she filed her will as Sarah Lancaster, but in the will in 1722 had her as Sarah Lancaster, which was proved in 1723 IOW Co. and gave items to children from her previous marriages and those of her husbands'.
