Frances Betsey Roberts Wilson
Birth Sep 1782 or 1794 or 1783 in Orange Co., NCDeath before Dec 1819 in Logan County, Kentucky. This bio is a work in progress as I do not have a clear picture of her life and her facts. From the settlement of her father's estate in 1814 in Logan Co, Ky " William Wilson and his wife Fanny loted one negro woman called Easter valued to $300.00; and they have got to pay to the said estate $126.49." Her Marriage to William G Wilson,Sr. occurred 30 May 1812 in Logan Co, Kentucky. William G Wilson,Sr. remarried 8 Dec 1819 to Elizabeth Neely (1775 – 1870) so I assume Frances died. I found 2 sons for William G Wilson,Sr. who was a wagon maker and from their birthdates they appear to be Frances' sons as their birthdates are before his marriage to Elizabeth Neely. First son was William G Wilson,Jr. His birth is listed as 1814 in Logan Co, Kentucky and the censuses back this up and his death occurred May 1860 in Logan Co, Kentucky. He married Martha Elizabeth "Betsy" Hughes (1820 – 1858)and they had 10 children. Second son was Hiram Wilson who was born Sep. 4, 1817 in Logan Co., Kentucky. Like his father he was a wagon maker. He died Jun. 16, 1890 in Auburn Logan County Kentucky. He married Eliza Jane about 1839 and they had 10 children. Her
