Mercy was the wife of Elisha Towne Jr — married 11 Jan 1737 in Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts.
Mother of nine children including: :Joseph Towne, Bartholomew Towne, Thomas Towne, Mercy Towne, Sarah Towne, Elisha Towne, Samuel Towne, Mary Towne and Elisha Towne
Mercy (Foster) Towne passed away after 1761 in Milford, Hillsborough, New Hampshire.
