==Biography==William Cavendish, 3rd Earl of Devonshire was born on 10 October 1617.He was the son of William Cavendish, 2nd Earl of Devonshire and Hon. Christian Bruce. He married Lady Elizabeth Cecil, daughter of William Cecil, 2nd Earl of Salisbury and Lady Catherine Howard, circa 4 March 1638/39.
