== Biography ==Margaret was aged 40 in March 1326/7, so her estimated birth is circa 1287. She was shown as Baroness Badlesmere 26 Oct 1309. Margaret was arrested and imprisoned in Tower of London Nov 1321 to Nov 1322; she was the first female prisoner in the Tower's history. She was jailed for ordering armed assault on Isabella of France (Edward II's wife and Mortimer's lover). She surrendered 31 October 1321. During her lifetime, she resided at Castle Badlesmere and Chilham Castle, both in Kent.
