}} == Biography == Noted American urban planner, architect, educator and author. He was known as the "Father of Modern Philadelphia."[[#fyr|Finding Your Roots]] He was Executive Director of the Philadelphia City Planning Commission from 1949 to 1970. Mr. Bacon designed Love Park which became a skateboarding mecca and home of the X Games. Mr. Bacon protested a ban on skateboarding by skateboarding in Love Park.
