Cork, Ireland. ===Birth and Parentage=== He was born before 11 Jun 1341, when he was baptized at Nettlestead, Suffolk. , the son of [[Tiptoft-10|John de Tibetot]] and [[Badlesmere-24|Margaret de Badlesmere]]. He was aged 19 in 1360 and 26 in 1367. ===Marriage=== He married shortly before 5 June 1348 (marriage settlement dated 14 Jan 1347/8, marriage articles dated 330 April 1348) [[Deincourt-10|Margaret Deincourt]] (or Deyncourt), daughter of William Deincourt, Knt, 2nd Lord Deincourt, by Millicent, daughter of William La Zouche, 1st Lord Zouche of Harringworth. He [Robert Tybotot] married, before Trinity 1348, Margaret, daughter of William (Deincourt), 2nd Lord Deincourt, by Milicent, daughter of William (La Zouche), 1st Lord Zouche (of Haryngworth). Complete Peerage 2nd edn. XII/2:97-8, transcribed by Dave Utzinger ===Service=== He was summoned to Parliament from 24 Feb 1368 to 8 Jan 1369/70. In 1370 he was i the North with Lrods Percy and Clifford. In 1371 he was going beyond the sea in the retinue of the king. ===Death=== He died s.p.m. 13 April 1372, apparently in Gascony, when any Barony which may be supposed to have been created by the writ of 1308 fell into abeyance, according to modern doctrine, between his 3 daughters and coheirs. He was buried at Grey Friars Priory, Ipswich, Suffolk. ===Widow's Remarriage and Death=== His widow married, before 14 November 1373, John CHEYNE.
