Susannah Monroe (ca.1698-1752) The Full Circle of Her Life[Virginia R. Redden, NVG 4:4, 343-357]Research on Susannah Monroe, one of four children of Andrew Monroe (1661-1714) and one of fourteen grandchildren of Andrew Monroe the immigrant (ca.1615-1668). This property, to which Francis4 Wright had removed by July, 1741, was about twelve miles west of Francis Awbrey's estate, and twenty miles northwest from Leesylvania, and about twenty-eight miles north of the estate on which his brother John4 settled in 1741. Thus these brothers became well separated topographically. Soon after the date of the above-mentioned deed, the remaining two-thirds of the thousand-acre Leesylvania plantation were sold by Francis4 Wright for a sum approximating $5,000 in present currency to the same Henry Lee, of whom his father, John3 Wright, had purchased it in 1723. This is the instrument in which Francis4 Wright calls himself the eldest son of his father:

This property, to which Francis4 Wright had removed by July, 1741, was about twelve miles west of Francis Awbrey's estate, and twenty miles northwest from Leesylvania, and about twenty-eight miles north of the estate on which his brother John4 settled in 1741. Thus these brothers became well separated topographically. Soon after the date of the above-mentioned deed, the remaining two-thirds of the thousand-acre Leesylvania plantation were sold by Francis4 Wright for a sum approximating $5,000 in present currency to the same Henry Lee, of whom his father, John3 Wright, had purchased it in 1723. This is the instrument in which Francis4 Wright calls himself the eldest son of his father:
