Anne was Ambrose's third wife; his previous wives were: 1) Anne, the daughter of William Whorwood and his wife Cassandra, the daughter of Sir Edward Grey; and 2) before 13 September, 1553, Elizabeth, the daughter of Sir Gilbert Talboys, heir of George, lord Talboys. Anne and Ambrose had no children. Anne's husband, Ambrose, died at Bedford House, Bloomsbury, on 20 February 1589-90, the new year used to start in March in England, so February was at the end of 1589, but in our calendar it is 1590.
