} == Biography ==Lady Elizabeth Compton, was the only child and heir of [[Compton-353|Charles Compton, 7th Earl of Northampton]] and his wife [[Somerset-37|Lady Anne Somerset]], and was born 25 June 1760. Both of her parents died in 1763 and part of her inheritance included Compton Place in Eastbourne, Sussex.Cokayne, Doubleday & Lord Howard de Walden, p. 686, including note a She married 27 February 1782 at Trinity Chapel, Conduit Str., Hanover Square, London, Lord George Augustus Henry Cavendish, third and youngest son of William Cavendish, 4th Duke of Devonshire and his wife, Lady Charlotte Boyle, Baroness Clifford.
