Marriage of Samuel Miller and Margaret Lackey is listed in the History of the House of Ochiltree.Clementine Brown Railey, "History of the house of Ochiltree of Ayrshire, Scotland: with the genealogy of the families of those who came to America," Bulletin Printing Co., 1916 pp 158-159. They lived on the homestead of Henry Miller near the Natural Bridge. They passed the farm to their son, Samuel and his wife, Janetta. They were the parents of 13 children.

== Biography ==Samuel Boggs Miller was born in Lancaster, PA on March 1,1760 and, in 1770, came with his parents to Rockbridge Co., VA. He married, on December 27, 1787, [[Lackey-312 | Margaret Lackey]], daughter of Thomas and Agnes (Leech) Lackey, who came from Londonderry to Lancaster Co, Pa. in 1747, and to Rockbridge, then part of Augusta Co., in 1768. Samuel and Margaret Lackey Miller lived on the homestead of Henry and Rebecca (Boggs) Miller, his parents, near the Natural Bridge. In their later years the old home passed into the hands of their son, Samuel and wife Janetta (Wilson) Miller, who cared for them until their death. Their house was always open to relatives who came from other parts of the county to visit "Uncle Sam" and "Aunt Peggy". Samuel died in 1848 and Margaret in 1854, both 87 years old.
