On last Friday, at his house in Knox County, Mr William Anderson, aged about 71 years. He had for some time previous to his death suffered under the heavy hand of severe and protracted affliction but venerable by his age, looked up to with reverence by his numerous descendants as the patriarch of his race, deserving by his religious principals and exemplary life to be applauded and imitated by the wise and good and washed by the blood of the lamb he was at length freed from the encumbrance of this earthly tabernacle and from the troubles of a wicked world and admitted as we may reasonably hope to partipate in the joys of the assembly of the church of the first born and mingle with the spirits of the just
