Elizabeth was born to John Bramshot and his wife Katherine Pelham, daughter of John, Chamberlain to Queen Katherine of France (wife of King Henry V of England). Her birthplace is unknown and her birthdate is estimated at about 1445.Estimated birth year, about 1445: Her parents were married in 1444 ("date of fine"). She was married "before 1462", which appears to be based on her son Edmund's birth about 1462, as he was a burgess (MP) by 1483. (Marriage "before 1462" and 1483 date from Richardson's Magna Carta Ancestry).
Elizabeth married John Dudley, Esq., of Atherington, Sussex, before 1462. They had three sons and two daughters:*Edmund Dudley, Esq., son and heir, beheaded 18 August 1510, married first to Anne Windsor and second to Elizabeth Grey and had issue with both wives
*John Dudley
*Peter Dudley*Elizabeth Dudley, married Thomas Ashburnham*Anne Dudley, married Robert Hall
Elizabeth died in 1498 and was buried in the College Church of Arundel, where, after his death on 6 February 1500/1, her husband was also buried at his request.
