==Biography==

She was the daughter of Sir John Scott, Marshall of Calais (1423-October 17, 1485) and Agnes Beaufitz (d. March 25, 1487). Douglas Richardson, Royal Ancestry, Vol. III, p. 683.
She married Sir Edmund Bedingfield (1443-1496) in about 1478 as his second wife. Their children were Sir Thomas (c.1479-1558), Alice, Robert, Sir Edmund c.1483-1553), Agnes, Peter, Sir John, Elizabeth, and Margaret. Sir Edmund moved the family seat to Oxborough, Norfolk, where Margaret built a chapel to his memory in the parish church http://www.kateemersonhistoricals.com/TudorWomenSa-Sn.htm.
* The Earls of Burlington are in direct descent from Sir Edmund and Lady Margaret Bedingfield.
