[[Boughton-226|Sir Edward Boughton]], son and executor, married twice. His second wife was Anne Thynne, who died s.p. By his first wife [[Scott-13150|Joan]], daughter of Sir William Scott, by Sibbel, daughter of Sir Thomas Lewknor, he had with other issue Sir Nicholas Boughton whose will is given below (14 Mellershe) and whose wife [[Kempe-226|Mary]] was daughter of Sir William Kemp. The Inq pm states that Sir Edward died 10 Dec. 3 Edw. VI 1549 and Nicholas Boughton, aged 30 years and more, was son and heir (vide Hasted's Kent vol i new edition p 149).
