== Biography ==Henry Guildford son of [[Guilford-2|Richard Guilford]] and his second wife, [[Vaux-228|Jane Vaux]], was born about 1489.
His first wife whom he married in April 1512 was Margaret daughter of Sir Thomas Bryan of Ashridge in Kent. She died childless. By 1525 he was married to Mary Wotton daughter of Robert Wotton of Boughton Malherbe in Kent. No children were born of this marriage either.
Henry was installed as a Knight of the Garter on 6 May 1526 and served as member of Parliament for Kent in 1529.

He made his will on 18 May 1532 and was dead by the end of the month.
