Dorothy Heydon married Thomas Brooke the son and heir of John, Lord Cobham and Margaret, daughter of Edward Neville, Lord Abergavenny. They had seven sons and 6 daughters.
Dorothy was noted in the will of her father, Sir Henry Heydon, the will made on 20 Feb 1503/1504Will of Sir Henry Heydon of Bakonesthorp, Norfolk. Nov 1504. PROB 11/14/336. National Archives..
In the will of her mother, AnneGurney D Esq (1858) Supplement to the Record of the House of Gournay. pp823-827., in 1509/1510, the Testator made a bequest to her daughter Dorothy Cobham; and bequests to her nephew [presumably grandson] George Cobham and her niece [presumably granddaughter] Anne Cobham.
