UNCLE AND FATHER IN LAW TO SIR HENRY MORGAN THE BUCCANEERMary Elizabeth Morgan. She married in 1660 to Sir Henry "the Buccaneer" Morgan, Knight, b. 1637, of Llanrhymni, Llaneirwg, Monmouthshire, England and d. 25 Aug 1688. She is said to have been a noted beauty.

•Llanrhymni manor in parishes of Llanedern, Rhymni, & St Mellons. •Lived self exile in City of Lippstadt Germany. Said to have met and married Anna Petronella Von Polnitz there.
•Lieutenant-General of South Wales 1649.•Pardoned 1651 & made Deputy Governor and later Lt Governor Jamaica. •Said to have been Deputy-Governor of Jamaica in 1664, but not in the printed lists.
•lived in Franconia, probably in Bamberg, 1655-8.•gave his house for a parsonage in St Jago de la Vega 14 Jul 1674. (? needs verification)•In 1665 he was sent in command of ten ships on an expedition against the Dutch Islands of St Eustatius, Saba, and Curacao, and being old and corpulent, died of heat and exertion during the attack on St Eustatius in Jul 1665.
