===AKA===Sometimes given the epithet "Tyneman" (Old Scots: Loser), but this may be a reference to his great-uncle, Sir Archibald Douglas.
===Battle of Shrewsbury===
:}He fought in the Battle of Shrewsbury in 1403 and killed Sir Walter Blount, the carrier of the Royal Standard, and Edmund Stafford, 5th Earl of Stafford.
