A contract for the marriage of Archibald Douglas and Elizabeth Sutherland was signed on 9 November 1590.1. She was b. Between 1564 & 1568, the daughter of Alexander Sutherland & Janet Grant.
Children:1.Robert Douglas+3 b. 8 Jun 1588. Married Jean Ross, daughter of Robert Ross, 5th laird of Halkshead. :2.Elizabeth Douglas b 1592 Duffus, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland. Married John Innes.
