== Biography ==
Conrad I of Oldenburg (German: Konrad I. von Oldenburg) was Count of Oldenburg from 1344 to 1367.He was the son of John II of Oldenburg and Hedwig of Diepholz.[1] Conrad married Ingeborg, the daughter of Count Gerhard IV of Holstein-Plön. Four children were born of this union:
Conrad II, Count of Oldenburg (d. 1401)
Gerard of Oldenburg (killed in action 1367 while invading Rüstringen)
Agnes of Oldenburg married Count Ludwig von Winstorf
