Biography
Euphemia Drummond was the fifth daughter to Sir John Drummond of Cargill and Stobhall, later 1st Lord Drummond, and his wife, Elizabeth Lindsay, said to have been a daughter of Alexander Lindsay, fourth Earl of Crawford.#S-1 Balfour Paul; Vol 7, page 45 In his discussion on Lord Fleming in Vol 8#S-1 Balfour Paul; Vol 8, page 536 he errors when he suggests she was the fifth daughter to David, Lord Drummond, he was her brother.
She married John Fleming, 2nd Lord Fleming, before 5 May 1496, when they had a charter of the barony of Thankerton.
She died, by poisoning, along with two of her sisters, in 1502, shortly after April. Balfour Paul provides that they had six children but this seems unlikely, especially since the eldest two sons are named Malcolm.
