== Biography ==
Duncan, known as ''Duncan of Lennox'' was the eldest son born to [[Faslane-1|Walter Faslane]] and [[Lennox-196|Margaret Lennox]] . He was found guilty of high treason, involving a plot hatched by his son-in-law, [[Stewart-1651|Murdoch Stewart]] son of [[Stewart-1526|Robert, Duke of Albany]] & his first wife [[Graham-632|Margaret Graham]], Countess of Menteith. Both Duncan and his son-in-law were executed at Stirling Castle May 25, 1425. Duncan was buried at the Church of the Friars Preachers [of St Laurence], Stirling, commonly called ''Blackfriars''.
Duncan was married to [[Campbell-6044|Ellen/Helen Campbell]], widow of [[Macdonald-244|John Macdonald]] who died before November 15, 1369, (dispensation to recontract marriage 30 Mar 1373).
Duncan and Ellen had three children.
