==Research Notes==*There is some confusion as to the ancestry of Isobel Wallace. Some sites name her father as John, one names him as Thomas. I have found reference to her not being the daughter of John, but daughter of one of his brothers without naming exactly which brother.
*The Scots Peerage names six children, one son and five daughters.*Eighteenth Century Collections online also names Isobel's father as Thomas.
