Sir Thomas Cuming

== Biography ==Thomas was born about 1410, the son of [[Cumming-1621|Alexander Cumming]] and [[Dunbar-89|Euphemia Dunbar]]. He married [[Gordon-8588|Margaret Gordon]] (not to be confused with another Margaret Gordon who married his grandson, also named Sir Thomas Cumming of Altyr) and they had three sons: James, who died without issue, [[Cumming-1623|Alexander of Altyr]], and [[Cuming-90|John of Earnside]]. Their daughter, Jane, was known as the "Fair Maid of Murray" and was said to have married the [[Seton-179|First Earl of Huntly]].
