According to the original manuscript of the 1566 Visitation of Buckinghamshire:
"William Dormer of Wyckombe in com. Buck., esquire eldest son and heir to Geffrey aforesaide married Agnes daughter of Sir Richard Woodvyle Erle Ryvers and by her had Sir Robert Dormer knighte his eldest sonne and three daughters th'one married to Sir John Baldwin knight Lord Chiefe Justice of England another to Bromwell of London, Margrate the other to one Bryeteyn of London, marchaunte."

In his will he names his wife Agnes, son Robert, daus. Joan Alburgh, Margery Deane and Agnes Baldwin.
