David Drummond, 2nd Lord Drummond was born between 1515 and 1517.1 He was the son of Walter Drummond, Master of Drummond and Lady Elizabeth Graham.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Stewart, daughter of Alexander Stewart and Margaret Stewart, in 1535.3 He married, secondly, Lilias Ruthven, daughter of William Ruthven, 2nd Lord Ruthven and Janet Halyburton, Lady Dirletoun, before 7 December 1543.3 He died in 1571.
He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Drummond [S., 1488] in 1519.4
