Lady Margaret Hay married, firstly, Henry Ker, Lord Ker, son of Robert Ker, 1st Earl of Roxburghe and Jane Drummond, on 3 February 1638.[1]
She married, secondly, John Kennedy, 6th Earl of Cassillis, son of Hew Kennedy, Master of Cassillis and Katherine Macdowall, on 15 March 1643/44.[1] A contract for the marriage of Lady Margaret Hay and John Kennedy, 6th Earl of Cassillis was signed on 20 February 1643/44.[1]
She died circa 19 April 1695.[3] She was buried on 22 April 1695 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, England.[2] Her will was probated on 4 July 1695.[2]
She was the daughter of William Hay, 10th Earl of Erroll and Lady Anne Lyon.[2]
*From 3 February 1638, her married name became Ker.
*From 15 March 1643/44, her married name became Kennedy. As a result of her marriage, Lady Margaret Hay was styled as Countess of Cassillis on 15 March 1643/44.
